Brian K. Childress, Esq.
Mr. Childress currently serves as the Vice President of Operations for Sterling & York, Ltd.
Mr. Childress has over 17 years of legal and government experience. He began his career with the Florida Department of Business Regulations (DBR) in their Real Estate Investigation Department. Acting as an investigator for the DBR, he also served as a liaison between the DBR and the Legislative and Executive Branches of the Florida Legislature. He worked throughout the State of Florida serving both the DBR's Real Estate Department and the State of Florida's constituents.
In addition to his employment with the DBR, he has consulted on numerous activities ranging from the renovation and re-lease of existing buildings to the purchase of raw land and the sale of improved parcels to others.
Mr. Childress later graduated from a nationally recognized paralegal school and moved into management as an active paralegal and office manager. After graduating from law school, his focus turned toward representing corporate clients in matters concerning corporate and commercial litigation and corporate transactional work. Additionally, He has extensive experience consulting with SVP/General Counsels, Law Firm Partners and other C-Level executives with regard to business development, marketing and merger actions.
Mr. Childress holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, with a minor in Finance, from Florida State University and a Juris Doctorate degree from Ohio Northern University, The Claude W. Pettit College of Law. He also holds a paralegal degree from The National Center for Paralegal Training (ABA approved) where he specialized in civil litigation.
